Real Madrid Transfer Rumours: Tottenham Hotspur want Isco, United want Gareth Bale next season
Real Madrid might not have made a notable signing this summer but there are clubs who are looking at luring some of their big stars away from the club. Zidane has stressed to the fans that the club don’t need to make any new signings this campaign.
Isco and James Rodriguez have been the two names that have popped up the most on the back pages with several stating the club might sell the duo before the end of the season. But Zidane has come out and said that Rodriguez is set to stay at the club.
That just leaves Isco. The playmaker came with a lot of reputation to Los Blancos but hasn't quite found his feet. He has been the subject of a lot of transfer speculation over the last couple of years.
Clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal and several others have been linked with the Spaniard. But no deal ever materialised. But this window might finally be the time for him to move on.
Isco has struggled to establish himself as a regular under two or three managers now and it would be a wise decision to find pastures new. According to the Mirror, the club linked with him this time around is Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs have only brought in two signings this season, namely Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama. The likes of Nacer Chadli, Ryan Mason and a few others might be offloaded this summer with Pochettino not satisfied with their performances.
Isco would be a great addition to the squad. He is still a quality player and has sometimes been compared to the likes of David Silva and Andres Iniesta. The player will most likely leave on loan and not on a permanent transfer with so little time left in the window.
United eyeing Gareth Bale next season
The Gareth Bale to United rumour is once again doing the rounds. Though Bale is certain to stay at the Bernabeu this season he could be subject to a massive bid next season. According to the Star, the Red Devils have made him their top target for next summer.
Having already purchased the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba, the club have shown they have the financial might to bring in any world-class player, even if that player is currently playing for Real Madrid.
The Mourinho effect has definitely reaped it’s rewards and Bale might be another who might fancy playing under the Portuguese.
