Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos comments on Barcelona rumours
During the Barcelona Presidential elections last year one of the candidates Jordi Majo claimed he was offered Ramos as an electoral asset but refused to accept.
“We were offered him, a month and a half ago roughly.” Majo said, “I don't know if anyone else was offered him but we are not going to play that game. We will not be a reason for him and his brother to increase their pay at Real Madrid.”
“If another candidate has been offered him and accepted that’s their problem but we totally ruled it out” he added. The defender then responded insisting he was relaxed over the rumors, some of which also linking him to Manchester United.
And Ramos has recently reiterated that he would never move to the Catalans saying, “Football is unpredictable and there will always be transfer rumours. But the one thing you will never see is Sergio Ramos joining Barcelona”.
Ramos and his team-mates cut the gap on second-placed Atletico to just a point after they thrashed Espanyol 6-0, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick. Their local rivals earlier lost to league leaders Barcelona and had two players sent off in the game.
The Portuguese superstar demonstrated once again why he is still one of the best players on the planet, and the Spanish international is well aware of the importance of Ronaldo to the club.
“As Madrid captain, I would like to see Cristiano here for many more years,” he said. “He is a real star”. With those three goals, Ronaldo is now level with Barcelona’s Luis Suarez in the La Liga scoring charts. It is also the sixth time Los Balcos’ have scored five or more goals in the league.
Ramos says Neymar can make the difference

Neymar recently calmed Barcelona fans saying he is happy at the club. He also denied he met with Madrid officials after a journalist claimed he was in the capital ‘meeting with friends’
The Los Blancos’ captain heaped praise on Neymar saying he would transform any side he would play for including Real Madrid.
The defender told outlet Manda Pelotas .“Neymar is a great player who can make the difference,” The 23-year old is fourth in terms of goals scored in La liga with 16. Neymar has also made an important contribution in terms of assists, setting up his teammates 9 times which is a league high this season.
