Reports: £70 million star's agent holds talks with Paris Saint-Germain
What's the story?
Arsenal player Alexis Sanchez's agent held talks with French Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain according to English media outlet Metro via Canal Plus.
If the report is to be believed, the Chilean international's representative flew into Paris in order to have talks with the Unai Emery-managed side on Tuesday.
In case you didn't know...
Alexis Sanchez joined Arsenal from Spanish La Liga side Barcelona in 2014 for a fee of about £38 million. The 29-year-old then went on to score 77 goals and assist 46 during his arrival at the London club.
Sanchez, whose contract ends in the next summer, has refused to put pen to a new contract putting pressure on Arsenal to sell. The former Udinese player tried to force a move to current Premier League table leaders Manchester City, but could not make it happen due to his club not being able to find a replacement.
The player's attitude has been reportedly criticised by teammates and Sanchez has been involved in a major bust-up with them if the reports are to be taken into account. Reports state that Arsenal players believe that his attitude is affecting the whole squad and bringing their morale down.
The heart of the matter
Unsettled Arsenal player Sanchez could be finally moving away from the North London club with the player's agent holding talks with European giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The 29-year-old player's agent had met with the PSG officials in the last summer transfer window and now fresh talks have begun between the two parties if the reports from France are to be believed.

Author's take
It is obvious that Sanchez has lost his interest to play for Arsenal and wants a move away from the club. His attitude and performances for the Gunners have not been impressive this season.
While a transfer to PSG sounds exciting, it is hard to see why the Paris club would want the services of the Chilean international. PSG already have the likes of Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe upfront.
Manchester United could be the ideal destination for the former River Plate player and he could be joining the team for free in the next transfer window.
