Reports: Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus shirt sales generates astonishing revenues

Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the most marketable player in the world, which is why his name itself generates a lot of money for almost anyone that uses it. So when the Portuguese joined Juventus last summer, a revenue windfall was expected and now, Tuttosport have revealed the numbers.

Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Juventus in the summer for an Italian club record of around €115 million. Ever since his move, he has been the main man for his team as he has 19 league goals to his name in the Serie A.
The heart of the matter
According to the report, Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival has seen a massive boost for Juventus in the “revenues from product sales and licenses” as it reached a figure of €26.51 million for the first half of 2018-19 season.
When compared to the first half of last season, when Ronaldo was not at Juventus, the amount was at €14.65 million, which means that the Old Lady’s numbers have almost doubled with his presence.
It must also be noted that Juventus spent €12.18 million to buy Adidas products to sell in their stores, which means that the contribution of merchandising drops to €14.33 million.
And that is €5.56 million more than the figure during the first half of last season.
