Reports - Manchester City look to rope in Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere and Danny Rose
With Pep Guardiola taking over as the boss at Manchester City, the club will now look to strengthen their midfield raising speculations about a double raid on Arsenal. The incoming Manchester City boss would look to build his midfield around the Gunners playmaker Jack Wilshere and Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.
It is also rumoured that Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is also on City’s radar, as the club look to enhance their share of ‘homegrown’ players to meet UEFA regulations.
Though neither of the teams is likely to sell its players easily, the appeal of working with Guardiola, as well as the money on offer from the Etihad might make the players consider the offer in Manchester City’s favour.

Wilshere did not have the best time this season as he was out due to injury and is hoping that he has done enough to make it to the England EURO 2016 squad when it is announced on Monday by Roy Hodgson. It was reported this time last year that Manchester City had weighed up a bid for the £40 million rated 24-year-old, further strengthening the rumour.
Wilshere has two years left on his Arsenal contract and the Blues are exhilarated by reports that talks about a fresh £110,000-a-week deal with Arsenal have stalled.
Alexis Sanchez has been reportedly hesitating over Arsenal’s offer of a new £160,000-a-week contract and reports from Spain confirm that he would be welcome for a move to the Blues. Guardiola had signed the Chilean for Barcelona in a deal worth £26m in 2011 when City were also interested in the young player.
Rose has also had a remarkable Premier League campaign and is said to be an ideal replacement for Aleksander Kolarov by the Etihad side, though Spurs are unlikely to let him leave White Hart Lane.
In a bid to boost their homegrown players' provision, City had previously signed Jack Rodwell, Scott Sinclair and Fabian Delph in recent seasons, moves which did not bear any fruits for the Citizens. But City apparently favour Rose as a regular starter rather than a usual squad member.
Reportedly, Manchester City have already agreed on terms with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of their midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. There are also unconfirmed rumours that Manchester City are in talks with Everton for their defender John Stones.
