Reports: Neymar switched television off and played poker after Germany scored 7th goal

Injured Brazilian forward Neymar was in agony much like every other Brazil fan after watching his team get humiliated 1-7 by a ruthless German team. So much as that according to reports in Spain and Brazil, the poster boy of Brazilian football turned the television off after Andre Schurrle scored his second and Germany’s seventh goal in the 79th minute and started playing poker instead.

Watching the game with friends and family in his hometown Guarujá, while recovering from a fractured vertebrae, the Barcelona superstar was quoted as saying “Ya no quiero ver esta mierda! Vamos a jugar póker” which translates to “I do not want to see this shit! Let's play poker”.

He could not believe what he was witnessing and kept cursing throughout.

He also reportedly kept feeling sorry for teammate David Luiz, the stand-in captain in the absence of suspended Thiago Silva.

If the reports are true, then Neymar appears to have missed Oscar’s consolation goal right at the end.

Reports also say that Neymar’s mother kept crying throughout the match.
