Reports: Paris Saint-Germain enter the race to sign English teenager
What’s the rumour?
According to reports from The Mirror, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have joined a host of clubs looking to sign Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon this summer. The 17-year-old has enjoyed a stellar season at the London club this season.
In case you didn't know...
A product of Fulham's own academy, Sessegnon was promoted to their first team last season and he went on to make 30 appearances for the club.
Primarily a left-back, he has been deployed very frequently as a left-winger and the decision to do so has paid dividends. The teenager has chipped in with 15 goals and 6 assists this season as Fulham hope to gain promotion to the Premier League.
His current contract runs out only in 2020 and his market value is around £22.5 million.
The heart of the matter
After another failed campaign in the UEFA Champions League, PSG are set to make the record straight next season and wholesome changes are expected at the club. Manager Unai Emery has departed and the club looks to bring in solid additions to achieve European glory.
Thus, they have joined the race to sign Sessegnon this summer who has also been linked with the Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham.
He has been voted into the PFA Championship Team of the Year for two seasons consecutively and recently became the first Championship player to make the PFA Young Player of the Year shortlist.
Rumour rating/probability - 5/10
At the moment, these are just rumours and a move to PSG seems extremely unlikely to materialise.

Author’s take
Despite the prodigious talent he boasts, a move to PSG will be a huge risk for the player as he is not cut-out for the biggest stage yet. He needs his share of minutes to continue his development and at PSG, there will be no assurances of the same.
