Reports: Real Madrid keeping tabs on two talents amid interest from Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Juventus
What's the story?
According to a report from Spanish media outlet, AS, Real Madrid sent scouts to watch two talents in the Europa League clash between Eintracht Frankfurt and Benfica.
The two talents are Luka Jovic of Frankfurt and Joao Felix of Benfica. It is an open secret that there are numerous European heavyweights keeping tabs on these two players as well.
In case you didn't know...
With 17 goals and 6 assists in the Bundesliga, Jovic is one of the breakthrough talents of this season so far. The 21-year-old Serbian striker has garnered wide praise for his exploits due to his ability to find the net. Moreover, Jovic has shown his calibre on the biggest occasions so far.
Jovic is currently on loan at Frankfurt from Benfica, with an option to buy for €12 million at the end of the season, and Benfica will receive 20 per cent of any future sale.
On the other hand, Joao Felix is one of the players who is experiencing a meteoric rise to the top. The 19-year-old Portuguese has been nicknamed 'Hurricane Felix' due to his rampaging runs on the flanks.
Besides his pace and energy, Felix's maturity to dominate proceedings sets him apart. Benfica is reluctant to let their asset go and raised his release clause to €120 million last year with a new contract.
Felix scored a hat-trick against Frankfurt last night while Jovic scored one in the encounter which ended 4-2 in favour of Benfica.
The heart of the matter
Real Madrid's priority remains Eden Hazard but Los Blancos are keen to sign a goalscorer who can carry the goalscoring load with Karim Benzema.
According to the report, Real Madrid sent scouts to keep an eye on their two interests. While the Serbian striker is chased by both Barcelona and Los Blancos, Benfica's Felix has been on the shortlist of numerous clubs.

AS remains a reliable outlet and it is an open secret that these two prodigies are garnering massive interest.
