Revised FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings released, India up by 24 spots
FIFA have released an updated list of world rankings for the international football teams and World and European Champions Spain occupy the top spot.
Germany are in second place, followed by Argentina, England, Italy and Colombia. Portugal have fallen by a spot to seventh with Netherlands in eighth. Croatia and Russia make up the top ten respectively.
Africa’s top-ranked team, Ivory Coast, dropped one place to No. 13. Brazil shockingly sit in 18th place.
Meanwhile, India have gone up by 24 places and now rank 143. Afghanistan rocketed 48 places into their highest-ever position on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking to 141.
