Rilee Rossouw and Mitchell Starc have entertaining banter over Fifa and Liverpool's shoddy defending
Thursday night saw an electrifying 3-3 draw in the English Premier League between Arsenal and Liverpool, with a lot of fingers pointed towards Liverpool’s goalkeeper Simon Mignolet for being guilty of conceding soft goals.
Like the rest of the world, South Africa cricketer Rilee Rossouw and Australia cricketer Mitchell Starc followed the pulsating game as well, and shared their insights after the game, in an exchange that became more about their own personal duels over the computer game Fifa by EA Sports.
Starc and Rossouw, both currently not part of the action that their national teams are involved in, are Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates in the IPL, and clearly spend a lot of their time together playing the Fifa games between themselves.
Starc uses Manchester City as his team, while Rossouw is a Liverpool fan when they play against each other. In the following Twitter exchange, Starc tried to troll Rossouw but ended up being badly trolled himself when the South African managed to unearth a screenshot of the results screen of the time when they had last played – Rossouw beating Starc 3-0.
Oh my greatness Liverpool playing so well but these soft goals??? Are goalkeepers suppose to use there hands???
