Robert Huth mocks John Terry ahead of title celebration

Robert Huth is on form, this time on Twitter

Leicester City have been crowned Champions of England and its players are in a festive mood. At this moment in time, very few things would really trouble those associated with Leicester and their unlikely, albeit glorious triumph.

The Foxes play Everton this evening and will be presented the Premier League trophy at the end of the fixture regardless of the result. Leicester’s rock at the back, Robert Huth, will not be featuring in tonight’s game as he will be serving a three-match suspension for pulling Marouane Fellaini’s hair when the side faced Manchester United.

The suspension will not deter the giant German from partaking in the celebrations and he seems to have taken it in his stride. It seems after all that the seemingly destructive, square-headed (he calls himself this), Frankenstein-esque German does have a sense of humour after all.

The German does have some funny tweets where he showcases his dry sense of humour. He has shown his lighter side again, brilliantly trolling former teammate and Chelsea captain John Terry with a well worded but simple tweet.

Terry had famously been suspended for the 2012 Champions League final against Bayern Munich. Later, he had been mocked for celebrating with the Chelsea team in his full kit, complete with cleats and stockings after their victory.

In a manner similar to that of the Chelsea captain, 31-year-old Robert Huth has decided to celebrate Leicester City’s triumph in a similar manner. He plans to go out to the pitch in his full kit to celebrate.

While Terry was the subject of much ridicule, Huth is expected to get deserved applause when he steps out to collect the trophy. He has been instrumental in this Leicester side’s run to glory, clearing balls and putting his body on the line for the team. He also scored three of his team’s most important goals in the run into the title in the away wins against Tottenham and Manchester City.

This will be Robert Huth’s third Premier League medal, having won two as a squad player for Chelsea during Jose Mourinho’s first stint at the club.

The King Power will be a stadium in the mood for a party (yes, Jamie Vardy will be there) and the main attraction will be the post-game trophy presentation which will surely cause some crazy scenes to erupt.
