Robert Prosinecki calls Gonzalo Higuain "fat little pig", predicts Zlatan Ibrahimovic will become 'God of Manchester'
Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain made his debut for Juventus against West Ham at the new Olympic Stadium in London. However, it didn’t turn out to be the welcome he had hoped for as he got trolled from across the world, spanning his home country Argentina to the beleaguered fans of his former club Napoli, who he left recently for a whopping transfer fee of €90 million.
Higuain did not appear in the shape that even an ordinary footballer would have imagined, and the worst criticism of his physique came from former Real Madrid and Barcelona star Robert Prosinecki.
Robert Prosinecki, however, was full of praise for other star debutant, Zlatan Ibrahimovic claiming the new Manchester United signing will sizzle in his attempt to become the ‘God of Manchester’. Zlatan Ibrahimovic started his Man United career with a bang scoring a stunning bicycle kick on debut and later adding to the club’s efforts in securing the FA Community Shield trophy.

Making headlines for his seemingly blatant comments, Prosinecki appeared shocked on the condition of Higuain following his big money signing but sounded pragmatic as he conjectured that Juventus will not let this crucial signing remain a controversy.
"I was shocked to see Higuain, he is even fatter than me!" he told Jutarnji List. "They paid 94 million [sic] for him and he's arrived as a 'little pig'!
"I can imagine how shocked Allegri was after he insisted on his signing. But they will make him fit soon."

In the pre-season friendly on Sunday, Gonzalo Higuain was brought in as a replacement for Mario Mandzukic but failed to impress relatively, as every other Bianconeri striker scored a goal in their 3-2 win against West Ham United. Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala and Simeone Zaza all looked settled as ever and contrasting performances from Serie A record signing Higuain has drawn much attention to him for the wrong reasons.
Earlier, Higuain’s former club Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis had sniped at his fitness calling him a kilo and a half overweight. He said, "It’s like running with a block of concrete."
Prosinecki further continued particularly highlighting the instant impact Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had on Manchester United. He added assertively that the prolific striker will become a goal scoring machine, and rise above himself and even his splendid performances at PSG.
"I was amazed by Ibrahimovic, he didn't even seem so good at PSG," he said. "He will score 30 in England and become God in Manchester."
