Roberto Mancini reveals his ambition of managing England
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has been a success at the club. He has got some big-name players at the Etihad stadium, thanks to the multi-millionaire Sheikh Mansoor.
Recently, he revealed that the England national team has an amazing pool of talent. He said that if given the opportunity, he would not discard the chance to coach the team.
“It can happen if they want to win. It does appeal. And if I am managing England and win the World Cup or the European Championship I want to be knighted. No statue, but a knighthood is enough.”
In related news, Mancini criticized Samir Nasri for not performing. Nasri was signed from Arsenal and has been a disappointment at City.
When asked about Arsene Wenger’s tactics, the Italian blasted Arsene Wenger for his trophy drought, saying that Wenger and him were different.
Mancini also showed his interest in Falcao, Cavani and Suarez.
