Roberto Mancini wants a job at a Premier League club
Ex-Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is said to be keen to stay put in EPL even when news of offers from big money clubs like Monaco and Paris St. Germain are doing the rounds .
Mancini was sacked as manager of Manchester City on 13th May 2013, two days after City’s loss to Wigan in the FA Cup final. In his four-year reign as City manager, Mancini once won the Premier League in the 2011-12 season though the club could never advance beyond the group stages in the Champions League. He also won the FA Cup in 2010-11 season and the Community Shield in 2012.
The Italian is also said to be on the radar of Serie A club Roma having previously managed Fiorentina, Lazio and Inter Milan in Italy.
However, Mancini has bought a property in London and is in the hope of getting a offer from an English club. A friend of Mancini’s revealed: “Far from leaving England after losing the City job, Roberto wants to land another Premier League job and prove a few points.”
