Barcelona ready to listen to offers for multiple players but will not sell six stars - Reports
According to a report by Sport, Barcelona are open to selling all but six members of their squad in their rebuild under new manager Hansi Flick. Only Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Pau Cubrasi, Gavi, Pedri, Fermin Lopez, and Lamine Yamal have been highlighted as players who are not up for sale.
The Catalan club views the six players as key components of the present and future at the club and will not listen to offers for them despite their financial issues.
Ter Stegen is, without doubt, one of the best shot-stoppers in the world and will prove a difficult player to replace. Cubrasi, Gavi, Pedri, Fermin Lopez, and Lamine Yamal are young, gifted players from La Masia who are set to lead the club to the next era.
Cubrasi is considered to be one of the best young defenders in the world at 17. Gavin, Pedri and Lopez are also considered untouchable and could form a legendary midfield trio in the future.
Yamal is undoubtedly expected to become one of the stars of the team and is unlikely to be allowed to leave. The young Spaniard has broken records as the youngest goal scorer in La Liga and UEFA Champions League at just 16.
It remains to be seen if Barcelona will receive any offers for other players in the ongoing transfer window. The Catalan club will be eager to bring in a new batch of fresh faces this summer, with Hansi Flick aiming to return Blaugrana to the top of Spanish football.
Serie A club looking to sign Barcelona starlet
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Serie A side Fiorentina is keen to sign Barcelona forward Vitor Roque. The 19-year-old has seen game time hard to come by in Catalonia and despite the club being under new management, he could move on for the sake of his career.
Di Marzio reports that the side from Florence made the first move to sign the forward. FC Porto, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid are also reportedly interested in signing the talented Brazilian.
Roque featured 16 times for Barcelona across competitions last season, scoring two goals in the process. However, the young striker played just over 300 minutes for Xavi across those games. The talented Brazilian will be keen to secure more game time to prevent stalling his career.
Hansi Flick will be accessing his team and deciding who has a future in Catalonia under his stewardship. Roque will hope he can prove himself to the German manager and secure a place in the team.
