Barcelona set asking price for 27-year-old star after rejecting huge offer from Chelsea last summer: Reports

Barcelona have rejected a huge offer from Chelsea for Raphinha, according to Fichajes.net. The Blues apparently offered €60m upfront for the Brazilian, with a further €25m in add-ons but it didn't match the Catalans' asking price.

Raphinha has been outstanding for the LaLiga giants this season. The player dropped behind Lamine Yamal in the pecking order last campaign but has rediscovered himself under Hansi Flick.

The German manager opted to move the 27-year-old to the right wing and it has turned out to be a masterstroke.

Raphinha has found a new lease of life this season and is playing some of the best football of his career right now. He has registered 16 goals and 10 assists from 22 games across competitions and is now indispensable for Barcelona.

The player's efforts have convinced Chelsea, who are determined to take him to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are on the rise under Enzo Maresca this season and are currently second in the league. The London giants are planning to add more firepower to their attack and have identified Raphinha as the ideal target.

The Brazilian already has the experience of playing in England with Leeds United and could hit the ground running with Chelsea. Despite his blistering form, Barcelona are apparently willing to let him go.

The Catalans remain under financial distress and are planning to raise funds through player sales. However, the Spanish giants want at least €100m to allow Raphinha to leave.

Barcelona are apparently planning to move for Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, according to El Nacional (via Football Transfers). The Argentinean has picked up pace for the Blues of late and has now emerged as a key figure under Enzo Maresca.

His efforts have apparently turned heads at Camp Nou as well. The Catalans are willing to include Frenkie de Jong and Ferran Torres - who cost them €140m - in a player-plus-cash deal for Fernandez.

The Dutch midfielder's contract with the LaLiga giants expires in 2026 and he hasn't agreed to a new deal yet. De Jong is no longer a first-team regular under Hansi Flick and Barcelona are apparently willing to let him go.

Torres, meanwhile, already has experience of playing in the Premier League with Manchester City. However, the report adds that Chelsea are unlikely to be enticed by the Catalans' proposal.
