Leroy Sane has confirmed that he is in talks to extend his stay with Bayern Munich. The German forward has entered the final year of his contract with the Bavarians, with Barcelona plotting to take him to Camp Nou in 2025.

The Catalans already have Lamine Yamal and Raphinha in their attack but remain keen to add more competition to their roster. Sane has been identified as a candidate for the job and his contract situation makes him a lucrative option for the LaLiga giants.

The 28-year-old has struggled for game time under Vincent Kompany this season, registering three goals from 11 games (two starts), across competitions. However, it now appears that Bayern Munich have him firmly in their plans for the future.

As cited by acclaimed journalist Fabrizio Romano, the German recently claimed he feels comfortable at the Allianz Arena.

“We are in talks, I feel comfortable in Munich. I feel really comfortable. Talks are very good. My focus is currently only on FC Bayern,” said Sane.

Sane also has experience of playing in the Premier League with Manchester City.

According to SPORT, Barcelona are engaged in talks to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in 2025. The Georgian forward has enjoyed an exceptional rise with Napoli of late but remains one of their lowest earners.

The player's entourage is in talks with the Serie A giants regarding a new deal, but talks have stalled over the salary structure. Napoli are only willing to offer him a deal worth €5m per year, which Kvaratskhelia is refusing to accept.

The player's contract runs until 2027, but the Italian side are apparently willing to let him go next year. The Catalan giants are long-term admirers of the 23-year-old and are attentive to the situation.

Kvaratskhelia's camp has reportedly been in touch with the LaLiga giants to understand their interest. However, Barcelona are yet to make a move. Napoli are likely to demand €80m for their prized asset, which could make him out of Barca's reach.

Celta Vigo plan Oscar Mingueza renewal

Celta Vigo are planning to hand Oscar Mingueza a new deal amid interest from Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Spanish defender rose through the ranks at La Masia before moving to Celta Vigo in 2022.

However, the Catalans own 50 percent of the player's rights and can sign him for half of his €20m release clause. Mingueza has been outstanding for the Galicia-based club this season, registering two goals and five assists in 12 LaLiga games.

His efforts have prompted talks of a possible return to Camp Nou. Celta are eager to avoid the situation and have already reached out to Barcelona in a bid to buy the player's entire rights.

Talks are yet to take place, but Mingueza is unlikely to be a priority for the Catalans given Jules Kounde's form at right back.
