Bundesliga superstar keen on joining Liverpool, club in talks over a potential €60million transfer next year - Reports

Red-hot Bundesliga attacker Omar Marmoush is reportedly keen on joining Liverpool next season. As claimed by German outlet BILD via SI, the Eintracht Frankfurt forward has decided to join the Reds despite interest from elsewhere.

Marmoush has been one of the best players in Europe in the 2024-25 season having impressed up front for Frankfurt. Apart from his compatriot Mohamed Salah, he is the only player in Europe's top five leagues to have both scored and assisted 10 times this season.

The 25-year-old has found the back of the net 14 times while producing 10 assists in 16 appearances across competitions this campaign. He joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 on a free transfer after his contract with VfL Wolfsburg expired.

He had a decent debut season for the Bundesliga side scoring 17 goals and providing six assists in 41 games across competitions. However, his stock has risen significantly this season thanks to his brilliant run of form.

The versatile attacker has been heavily linked with a move away from Deutsche Bank Park in recent months. Liverpool have been credited with interest in the Egyptian along with Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

It has been claimed that the forward has already decided to move to Liverpool but Eintracht Frankfurt will only sanction a move next summer. The Bundesliga giants have no plans to let their key attacker depart in January as they are eyeing a Champions League spot. It has been reported that the Egyptian is expected to cost between €50 million and €60 million.

Liverpool reportedly plotting a move for Premier League attacker: Reports

Liverpool are reportedly plotting a move for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak who has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea. TBR Football claims that the Swedish attacker has sparked interest from a host of clubs from across Europe including Manchester City and Barcelona.

Newcastle United are reportedly desperate to tie their first-choice number nine down with a new and improved contract. However, the situation is a bit complicated as the Magpies have to comply with PSR regulations.

Eddie Howe's side were understood to be close to agreeing a new deal with Isak a few months ago but had to stall the negotiations. They did not consider Isak's contract extension a priority given that his current deal runs until 2028.

They now face a tricky situation if they have to convince Isak in agreeing on a new deal as Isak's camp is well aware of the interest in his services. The Liverpool target has scored 40 goals and provided seven assists in 78 appearances for the Magpies since his reported club-record £63 million move from Real Sociedad in 2022.
