Chelsea hold talks with rival PL club over move for star, player valued upwards of £100m - Reports
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, according to reports via Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie.
Recent reports indicate that the Blues have had further talks with the Magpies over a potential move for their star player, who is said to be valued above £100 million.
Chelsea have been active in the transfer market for a new centre-forward and have been linked with a couple of strikers in recent weeks. Notably, Jhon Duran, Samu Omorodion, and not forgetting Benjamin Sesko.
The Blues are also reportedly closing in on signing Barcelona youngster Marc Guiu in a deal that is believed to be around €6 million, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Meanwhile, another name currently being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Isak, who bagged a remarkable tally of 25 goals across all competitions for Newcastle United last season.
Sky Sports journalist Keith believes that the Magpies could be tempted to listen to offers for their star players due to the club being in a difficult position with PSR ahead of the July 1 deadline.
It will be interesting to see if a move for Isak from Newcastle United to Chelsea materializes this summer.
Lamine Yamal reacts to Barcelona teammate's imminent transfer to Chelsea
Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly poised to sign Barca youngster Marc Guiu this summer, with the player believed to have completed his medicals, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are expected to pay the sum of €6 million for the 18-year-old striker in a deal that will last until June 2030.
Meanwhile, teammate of the Spanish forward, Lamine Yamal, has reacted to the reports of Guiu potentially quitting the Bluagrana's this summer. When asked how he feels seeing his friend leave for the Premier League, Yamal said via Tribunal:
"They are decisions that each person makes. I have spoken to him and he told me that he is fine, at the moment he is thinking about the holidays. In the end, they are decisions that each person makes."
The Spaniard scored a total of three goals for Barcelona across all competitions last season.
