Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't bought the Jumeirah Bay Island in Dubai, contrary to popular reports. The Portuguese superstar has, however, bought a plot on the island, which is one of the most luxurious spots across the globe.
Reports percolated that Ronaldo had splashed out $25 million to buy the Jumeirah Bay Island, which is far from the truth as the entire island would cost billions.
Ronaldo, though, has spent a hefty sum to have a plot in one of the prime locations in the world. An X account named @SeeScribeAbril confirmed the report on social media.
Reliable media outlet GOAL has also confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has actually bought a plot in one of the most luxurious real estate spots. They claimed the Portuguese superstar has spent around $27 million on the property.
Ronaldo, along with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, is reportedly planning on building a mansion on the island. He already has properties in Madrid, Marbella, Madeira, Turin, Lisbon, and New York.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in good form for Portugal at Euro 2024. The 39-year-old is yet to register a goal in his first two games but bagged an assist in his side's 3-0 win against Turkey.
