Kylian Mbappe set to undergo nose operation to breathe well after injury at Euro 2024: Reports

French star Kylian Mbappe will reportedly undergo an operation on his nose post his Euro 2024 commitments with the national team. The forward sustained a bruise to his nose following a collision with Austria's Kevin Danso during their opening clash at the tournament on June 18.

While he's sporting a protective mask for Les Bleus' ongoing run in the tournament, Spanish news outlet Tiempo de Juego have reported Mbappe is set to undergo a nose operation after his Real Madrid presentation to improve his breathing.

The Frenchman has joined the La Liga giants this summer after leaving PSG as a free agent. However, he is yet to be unveiled as a Real Madrid player to the fans at the Santiago Bernabeu, which is reportedly set to happen on July 16.

Mbappe's signing was officially announced on June 3, just two days after Real Madrid won the Champions League, with the player signing a five-year contract with the club.

The 25-year-old is currently competing at the European Championships with France.

Mbappe likely to make his Real Madrid debut on 14 August

Kylian Mbappe is currently away with France at Euro 2024, but Madrid fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing him in the fabled white colors of the club. Their wait is most likely to end on August 14, when Los Blancos play Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup. Atalanta beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the Europa League final last season.

By then, Mbappe would have also had some pre-season game-time under his belt, and if he manages to avoid any injury, then the Frenchman could feature at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, next month.

More importantly, given it's a one-off game, Mbappe could even win his first trophy with Real Madrid in his first game with them as Carlo Ancelotti's side are the favorites to beat their Serie A counterparts.
