La Liga club keen on signing Barcelona outcast Vitor Roque - Reports

Journalist Albert Fernandez reported that Real Betis are interested in Barcelona outcast Vitor Roque. The Brazilian has been linked with a summer exit. A recent report from Diario Sport suggested that Azulgrana are contemplating letting Roque leave on loan and remain in control of his future.

The club wants Roque to play elsewhere and gain crucial first-team experience. The report also hinted that Barca's current financial situation makes it difficult for them to register Roque's contract, meaning an exit is more likely.

As per Fernandez, Betis are interested in Roque, however, there isn't anything concrete on the deal structure they might propose.

Roque joined Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense in January 2024. The youngster was a prominent figure in Brazilian football and was touted as one of the best up-and-comers.

Roque's transition, though, has been far from smooth with multiple reports suggesting that his level is not up to what Barca expected. As a result, a shock exit only months after Roque's arrival is on the cards.

Roque played 16 games for Barcelona during the second half of the 2023-24 season, netting twice. He started only two of those games and wasn't the Robert Lewandowski replacement he was expected to be.

The 19-year-old also lacked game time during Barca's pre-season tour in the US, bagging 75 minutes across three games. He is contracted until 2031 with the Catalan club and has an estimated market value of €30 million, as per Transfermarkt.

Mundo Deportivo reported in April that Sevilla and Betis were among the clubs eyeing a loan deal for Roque.

Barcelona outcast Clement Lenglet attracting interest from two La Liga clubs: Reports

Clement Lenglet is another Barcelona player linked with an exit. As per MARCA, the player's representatives met with Deco to finalize a move away.

The main setback is reportedly Lenglet's salary, which is €16 million annually. While Atletico Madrid and Villarreal are reportedly interested, they don't want to cover the aforementioned salary.

La Blaugrana want Lenglet to sacrifice a part of his wage so they can facilitate a move away for the Frenchman. Lenglet joined Barcelona in 2018 and has since made 160 appearances. He has spent the last two seasons away on loan at Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.

The 29-year-old defender's current deal with the Catalan club runs until 2026 but Barca are keen to offload the player.
