Liverpool and Arsenal suffer blow as Premier League side have no interest in selling top target: Reports

As per The Palace Way, Crystal Palace have no interest in selling Liverpool and Arsenal target Eberechi Eze. The attacking midfielder was a key player for Palace during the 2023-24 season, racking up 11 goals and six assists in 31 appearances across competitions.

Eze was rewarded for his performances with a call-up to England's Euro 2024 squad and has made one appearance for the Three Lions during the tournament. He came on as a substitute during the 1-1 draw against Denmark.

Eze has been a top target for clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur. Palace, however, are not interested in selling. They are under no pressure financially as Michael Olise's departure to Bayern Munich is set to bring them a windfall.

The 26-year-old, meanwhile, is understood to be prioritizing game time and his development rather than pursuing a move. The Merseysiders' representatives have reportedly gotten in touch with the player over a potential move.

Eze is contracted with Palace until the end of the 2026-27 season. He has an estimated market value of €55 million, as per Transfermarkt.

Liverpool and Arsenal interested in Johan Bakayoko: Reports

As per DH Net, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko. The 21-year-old scored 14 goals and provided as many assists in 48 appearances across competitions last season.

The Reds are still unsure about Mohamed Salah's future. Hence, they are keen to keep a possible replacement ready and Bakayoko has emerged as one of their top targets.

However, as per the aforementioned report, they are facing serious competition from the Gunners as Mikel Arteta looks to improve his squad for the 2024-25 season.

Bakayoko has a deal with PSV until the end of the 2025-26 season. The youngster is already rated at a whopping €45 million, and with top clubs vying for his signature, that fee could rise further.
