Manchester City star Kyle Walker dumped by wife after getting text message from his second child's mother - Reports
Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has reportedly seen his marriage has hit rock bottom, as revelations of his infidelity have come to light. According to The Sun, the footballer's wife Annie Kilner made the decision to part ways after receiving a message from Lauryn Goodman, who Walker has fathered a second child with.
The message that came to Kilner from Lauryn Goodman reportedly said (via The Sun):
“I don’t have two baby daddies — I have one.”
A source revealed to The Sun:
“The message she sent on Boxing Day confirmed what Annie already knew deep down. She didn’t want to believe it, but she knew. Kyle had bought her a house for more than £2million. There was no need for him to do that unless he had something to hide. That raised suspicions."
The situation has led to Kilner asking the Manchester City star to leave their £2.4 million family home. He has reportedly moved to a nearby apartment and is hoping to save the two-year marriage but Kilner has already removed her wedding ring.
Walker and Kilner have three sons together but their relationship has been through some difficult periods, as the right-back fathered a son with Goodman in 2020.
While this did not lead to the end of their relationship, Walker has also made headlines for other incidents, including 'hosting a £2,200 orgy with two hookers'. Last year, he was allegedly caught with another woman during a night out with friends.
His reconnection with Goodman and the subsequent child from the secret relationship seems to be the final straw for Kilner, who stated on social media (via The Sun):
“I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.”
Walker has publicly apologized:
"Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologize for the upset I've caused her."
Erling Haaland's return to Manchester City lineup delayed
Manchester City's Erling Haaland will remain on the sidelines until the end of January, as confirmed by manager Pep Guardiola. Speaking to the press, the City manager stated (via BBC):
"It's the bone. It needs time. With every injury, you can do whatever you want but it's a question of time. It's fine but the doctors decided to stop for one week and maybe restart in Abu Dhabi. Hopefully, at the end of this month, he'll be ready. It was a little bit more than we expected in the beginning."
The Norwegian has continued to impress for Manchester City with 19 goals in 22 games this season. However, he has not played since December 6 due to a foot injury.
The club are currently preparing for a Premier League outing against Newcastle this weekend (January 13), after which they will enjoy a 13-day break in Abu Dhabi. The Cityzens will be hoping Erling Haaland recuperates quickly during the break and is able to rejoin them for the next half of the season.
