Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea in heated race to sign Barcelona-linked attacker: Reports

According to a report by Fichajes.net, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are set to compete with Barcelona for Nico Williams's signature. The Spanish forward has established himself as one of the most exciting players on the planet and is the target of some of the elite clubs in Europe.

Williams began his career at Athletic Bilbao, coming through the Basque club's youth ranks to play 140 games. Last season, the Spaniard scored 22 times and provided 31 assists while helping his boyhood club win the Copa del Rey title. He currently represents the club alongside his older brother, Iniaki Williams, and the pair have shared the pitch 122 times, with the brothers combining for 11 goals.

Williams was also integral to Spain's Euro 2024 win, and his performances have attracted the attention of massive clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

The 22-year-old is contracted to the Basque club until the summer of 2027 and has a release clause of €58 million in his contract. Other European clubs rumored to be interested in his signature include Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona want to sign Gyokeres - Reports

According to a report by Eurosport, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres has attracted attention from Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea. The Swedish striker is one of the most lethal goal-scorers on the planet, with 67 goals and 19 assists in 71 games for the Portuguese side.

The Red Devils recently hired former Sporting boss Ruben Amorim as their head coach and are keen to bolster their attack with the Swedish goal machine. The Gunners and Blues are eager to improve their attacking prospects and view the striker as a vital addition to their squads.

The Blaugrana are looking to secure a successor to Robert Lewandowski in the coming years. The veteran striker will be out of contract in 2026. Gyokeres' reported £63 million valuation has done little to deter potential suitors and the striker looks likely to move sooner rather than later.
