Manchester United attacker wanted by La Liga giants on a loan deal this summer: Reports

Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has reportedly been linked with a loan move to Valencia this summer.

Pellistri, 21, has emerged as one of the best offensive talents at Old Trafford since arriving from Penarol for around £7.5 million in 2020. So far, he has featured in just 208 minutes of action this season, spread across nine games.

According to Todofichajes, Valencia have expressed an interest in signing Pellistri on a two-year loan deal in the upcoming summer transfer window. Los Che boss Ruben Baraja has already given the green light for his signing.

Pellistri, who is reportedly set to pen a new deal until June 2028 at Old Trafford, is keen to secure a temporary switch away from Manchester United. He is interested in getting hefty number of minutes under his belt next season.

Should the 11-cap Uruguay international join Valencia this summer, he would be a regular starter for them. With both Samuel Lino and Justin Kluivert set to return to their parent clubs, he would get enough chances to impress.

Manchester United, on the other hand, could offer the returning Amad Diallo more chances in place of Pellistri next campaign. They could help the Ivorian elevate his game following his fruitful Sunderland loan spell this term.

Casemiro opens up on life under Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag

Speaking to The National News, Casemiro shared his thoughts on Erik ten Hag's work ethic and hunger. He elaborated:

"He has surprised me a lot with his ambition. We have been talking among us and he is a little bit heavy because he always likes to win. He is asking for more because for him 100 per cent is not enough. We have to give more than 100 per cent. He works a lot and is very ambitious. He has the ambition to change the whole club."

Lauding the Dutchman for his impact at the Old Trafford outfit, the Brazilian added:

"He is a manager who has the respect from all the players and the fans. But I think we need to give him time because despite the fact we have already won one title and are quite close to the Champions League, we need more time to grow. We can see he is changing a lot of things at the club. He is always showing ambition to win."

Since the former Ajax boss' arrival, Manchester United have registered a whopping 40 wins, eight draws and 11 losses across all competitions. They have scored 101 goals and conceded 58 times in 59 overall matches so far.
