Manchester United linked with 3 PSG stars as part of player-plus-cash deal for Jadon Sancho: Reports

Manchester United could reportedly sign one of Manuel Ugarte, Milan Skriniar, and Nordi Mukiele in a player-plus-cash move involving Jadon Sancho with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Sancho, 24, has recently returned from a stellar six-month loan stint at former club Borussia Dortmund. He helped BVB reach the UEFA Champions League final last season, bagging three goals and contributing as many assists in 21 overall games in the process.

Now, according to Daily Express, Manchester United are interested in entertaining offers for Sancho this summer. They have slapped a price tag of £50 million on the winger, who joined the Old Trafford side from Dortmund in a £73 million deal in the summer of 2021.

PSG, who recently lost Kylian Mbappe after the end of the superstar's contract, are believed to be keen to snap up Sancho in the summer transfer window. They could try to finalise a deal with Manchester United by offering either Ugarte, Skriniar, and Mukiele to them.

Manchester United, who are expected to part ways with Casemiro, could decide to agree to a potential player-plus-cash deal should they get Ugarte. They have been linked with the star for most of the summer as the Red Devils are keen to rope in a defensive midfielder.

Ex-Manchester United star reveals why he is skeptical about Joshua Zirkzee's signing

Ex-Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has questioned his former club's recent acquisition of Joshua Zirkzee for over £36 million from Bologna. He said (h/t MUN):

"You've got Joshua Zirkzee, who seems to have a decent season with Bologna and could make an impact, but you have to ask why he is not a starter for Holland. That’s a red flag for me when you come in at United for that sort of fee. In recent years, the club have brought in middle-of-the-road players rather than the creme de la creme players that they should be getting."

Sharing further thoughts on the Dutch striker, the 52-year-old added:

"I'm not saying the kid is not a good player. I'm not saying that he definitely can't go and light up the Premier League, but why is he not playing in the Holland first team? Is he great for Bologna but he's not good for the Holland national team? Does that mean he can't be that great for United? But we can only judge him on that at the end of the season."

Last season, the ex-Bayern Munich star scored 12 goals and laid out seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions for Bologna.

According to Capology, Zirkzee is earning £105,000-per-week now.
