Manchester United star Jadon Sancho excited as he receives contract proposal from Champions League club: Reports

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reportedly identified Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho as a potential summer signing. The Englishman recently returned from a short loan spell with Borussia Dortmund.

As per a report by FootMercato, Sancho is excited by the PSG project and is open to joining them this summer. The Manchester United star is said to be in talks with the Ligue 1 club over a possible move.

Sancho has just been added back to the squad by manager Erik ten Hag, after he was banished from the first team last season.

The two fell out after a league match against Arsenal, as the Englishman felt he was being made a scapegoat for the loss. The manager claimed that the winger was dropped because he was not training well.

Sancho and Ten Hag have now sorted out their differences. The latter recently said (via Daily Mail):

"We spoke well. Anyone can make a mistake. If the player reflects well on that, then draw a line and continue again. This club needs good players, and one thing is for sure: Jadon Sancho is a terribly good player. I hope the click will come after all, and that it will contribute to our success."

PSG are now looking to make a move for the winger as they want to fill the gap left by the exit of Kylian Mbappe. They believe that the former Borussia Dortmund star could be a good addition to the squad.

Will Jadon Sancho leave Manchester United for PSG?

Jadon Sancho has not commented on a possible exit this summer but the aforementioned report from FootMercato states that the winger is keen on moving to PSG. The French side are yet to agree a deal with Manchester United but are confident of getting a deal done.

The Red Devils signed Sancho from Dortmund for a reported £73 million in 2021. Juventus, Dortmund and other clubs were reportedly keen on signing the Englishman this summer, but could not agree a deal with Manchester United.

Sancho has played 82 matches since moving to Old Trafford. He has scored just 12 goals, while assisting six times.
