Manchester United star linked with surprise move to Italian giants: Reports
According to a report by Inter Live (via The Hard Tackle), Manchester United center-back Victor Lindelof is currently on Inter Milan's radar. Inter Milan are looking to bolster their defense next summer, and Lindelof has emerged as a cost-effective option.
In recent months, the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt has moved Lindelof down the pecking order at Old Trafford. This season, the Swede has only made seven appearances for Manchester United, totaling only 293 minutes on the pitch.
However, Lindelof's contract at Old Trafford expires next summer, and United are reportedly yet to offer him a new deal. This means Inter Milan, or any other interested club, can sign him as a free agent next summer.
Since joining the Red Devils in July 2017 for €35 million in Benfica, Lindelof has registered 11 goal contributions in 266 games. Lindelof is currently valued at €15 million by Transfermarkt, and his defensive experience could enhance Inter Milan's backline if signed.
Manchester United contact Sporting CP over Viktor Gyokere's potential move to Old Trafford - Reports
Manchester United have commenced talks with Sporting CP over Viktor Gyokeres' potential deal as per Plettigoal (via Transfer News Live on X). In recent months, Gyokeres has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
This season, the Swede has been in excellent form and one of the best-performing strikers in Europe. In 21 appearances for Sporting CP so far, Gyokeres has scored 24 goals and registered four assists, this term.
As per the aforementioned report, the 26-year-old could join the Red Devils next summer. However, the deal will only be possible if Manchester United offload some players.
The Red Devils might have to defeat the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona as both clubs are also reportedly in the race to sign Gyokeres. The Swede is contracted at Sporting CP till June 2028, meaning that his potential move might not come cheap.
