Manchester United star valued at £30 million attracting interest from 2 Saudi Pro League clubs: Reports

Manchester United star Casemiro has allegedly attracted attention from Saudi Pro League outfits Al-Qadsiah and Al-Ettifaq this summer.

Casemiro, who will turn 33 next February, has emerged as a potential outgoing for the Red Devils after a sub-par 2023-24 campaign. He produced a number of error-prone performances, bagging five goals and providing three assists in 32 matches in the process.

Now, according to Caught Offside, Casemiro is open to sealing a move away from Manchester United and is keen to sign a long-term contract with high wages at his potential new club. Meanwhile, the Red Devils are hoping to earn £30 million from the Brazilian's sale.

Al-Qadsiah, who have signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nacho Fernandez so far this summer, are ready to meet Manchester United's valuation for the former Real Madrid star. Al-Ettifaq are also willing to launch a move to rope in the 32-year-old this summer.

Casemiro, who was allegedly linked with Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, and Al Ahli, has made 83 appearances for the Red Devils since arriving in a £70 million deal in 2022. He has helped them lift a FA Cup and an EFL Cup so far, recording 12 goals and nine assists as well.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are reportedly keeping tabs on the likes of Adrien Rabiot and Manuel Ugarte ahead of the next term.

Manchester United star showers praise on Casemiro after recent pre-season contest

After his team's 2-1 pre-season friendly loss against Arsenal on Saturday (July 27), Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer showered praise on Casemiro. He said (h/t MUN):

"It's so valuable, he's one of the best ever in that position, it's great for someone like myself to learn from him. Even just to watch him in training and have him next to me, talking to me and always helping me out, as well as the other lads. He's a real leader in the team."

Collyer, 20, started alongside Casemiro in midfield before the pair were withdrawn at half-time in the Red Devils' latest friendly in Los Angeles.

Asked to opine on his performance against Arsenal, Collyer replied:

"I thought I had an okay game. There were things I could have done better but it's great to experience a game like today and I can take it into the next game and even into training tomorrow."

Collyer, who arrived from Brighton & Hove Albion's academy in 2022, has assisted one goal in 27 appearances for United's U21 side so far.
