On-loan Arsenal star keen on leaving the club on permanent basis in 2025: Reports
Out of favor Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, who is currently on loan at Fulham, is reportedly keen on leaving the Gunners permanently. As claimed by Football 365, the 24-year-old has told Mikel Arteta that he wants to leave his boyhood club in 2025 because of a lack of playing time.
Nelson came through the youth ranks of Arsenal and made his debut for the club back in 2017, aged just 17. However, he failed to establish himself as a key player at the Emirates over the years.
The winger has made only 90 appearances for the Gunners since, out of which 55 have been from the bench. He has contributed with only eight goals and nine assists in the process.
The former England under-21 international previously had loan spells with TSG Hoffenheim and Feyenoord. He has been loaned out to Premier League side Fulham this season.
Nelson has made 10 appearances for Marco Silva's side this campaign, out of which seven have been from the bench. He has scored twice and provided one assist for the Cottagers so far this season.
It has been claimed that Nelson has set his sights on leaving Arsenal next summer and wants to return to Bundesliga. The English winger has reportedly been approached by Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin.
Nelson spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Hoffenheim in Germany, where he enjoyed a pretty impressive spell. In 29 appearances for the Bundesliga side, he scored seven times while producing one assist.

Arsenal are reportedly stepping up their chase to sign Sporting CP centre-back Ousmane Diomande beating Manchester United for his signature. As claimed by Record, Mikel Arteta is desperate to bolster his defensive ranks with the addition of the Ivorian wonderkid.
Diomande has been sensational for Sporting CP since joining the Portuguese giants in January 2023. He has established himself as a key player under Ruben Amorim and helped them win the Primeira Liga last season.
