Premier League side eye deal to sign Chelsea star Armando Broja - Reports

Southampton are reportedly interested in a move for Chelsea striker Armando Broja in the summer transfer window. This is according to Sky Sports, who believe that the Albania international is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge (via GIVEMESPORT).

Broja has struggled for game time with the Blues and was even sent out on loan to Fulham for the second half of last season. With the Cottagers, he made just eight appearances and failed to find the net even once.

As a result, it isn't surprising to see that the forward is being linked with a move away this summer. As per the abovementioned report, AC Milan and Everton are also interested in the player, while the Saints remain the most keen on his signature.

Additionally, Broja will have to fight off Nicolas Jackson for a place in the Chelsea starting XI should he choose to remain in west London. With Christopher Nkunku also capable of playing this position, the 22-year-old will likely see little to no minutes.

Therefore, it is highly likely that Broja would want a switch this summer to play regular football. That being said, a move for the striker may cost a fair bit, with the player contracted with the Blues till the summer of 2028.

To date, Broja has made 38 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea, bagging three goals and an assist, after coming through the club's youth system.

Victor Osimhen

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are interested in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen amid interest from Chelsea (via Football London). The Blues are looking to add firepower up front, with Nicolas Jackson not considered the most reliable goalscoring threat.

With two years left on his deal with the Italian side, it is believed that clubs would have to trigger Osimhen's reported £110 million release clause to complete the deal. Of course, the Nigeria international is considered a consistent source of goals, having bagged 65 strikes in 108 Serie A appearances up until now.

A move to PSG may seem more tempting at the moment after the Blues finished sixth in the Premier League last season. On the other hand, the French giants have UEFA Champions League football to offer should Osimhen decide to move to the Parc des Princes.
