Real Madrid identify 4 Premier League superstars as transfer targets to further solidify their position in European football: Reports

Real Madrid are planning to move for four Premier League stars in 2025, according to The Independent. Los Blancos had a quiet summer this year, only adding Kylian Mbappe and Endrick to their roster.

However, the La Liga giants are already planning for the future and have now identified their next targets. According to the report, Real Madrid want to move for Manchester City's Rodri to bolster their midfield.

The Spaniard is among the finest in his position in the world and could be Toni Kroos' successor at the Santiago Bernabeu. With Luka Modric also expected to leave at the end of this season, Carlo Ancelotti could do with someone like Rodri in his squad.

Los Blancos also have Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold on their radar. The Englishman has entered the final year of his contract and is yet to sign a new deal. The La Liga giants are laying down succession plans for Dani Carvajal and have identified the 25-year-old as an option.

Finally, Real Madrid also want to bolster their backline and have set their sights on Arsenal's Williams Saliba and Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero. The Spanish champions will move for one of the two defenders next year.

Real Madrid are reportedly convinced that their plan can help stabilize their squad for the next decade. Los Blancos have been quite conscious about their finances in recent years, investing heavily in youth to help build a team for the future.

They are wary that they cannot fight with the increasing financial might of English clubs and are banking on their continued success to lure top talents to the Santiago Bernabeu. Indeed, the club have won four of the last five Champions League trophies and have consistently been among the best teams in Europe.

The La Liga giants now have the finances to secure the aforementioned targets. They have identified Rodri as their numero uno target and believe that the player remains open to a return to Madrid.

Real Madrid are also confident about prising Trent Alexander-Arnold away from Anfield, with the player's close bonding with Jude Bellingham likely to be key to the operation.

Los Blancos want Saliba as well, having missed out on Leny Yoro this summer. However, they are aware that prising the Frenchman away from Arsenal will be a tough task, especially since the player is under contract until 2027. They have now identified Cristian Romero as an alternative and will move for the Argentine if they miss out on Saliba.
