Real Madrid not interested in paying €60 million to sign Chelsea and Manchester United target - Reports

Real Madrid are reportedly no longer interested in signing Lille center-back Leny Yoro, who is on the radar for both Chelsea and Manchester United. The Spanish giants will reduce their focus on getting the 18-year-old's services due to Lille requesting €60 million.

Leny Yoro was an important player for Les Dogues this season, helping them reach the Europa League. The 18-year-old defender played 32 games, where he helped Lille concede only 29 goals while keeping 15 clean sheets. His performances have understandably piqued the interests of European giants, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Lille are not against letting Yoro leave their club, especially as they look to profit from his sale. As per journalist Matteo Moretto (via Football Espana), they're prepared to let him go for €60 million. It's believed that he is also interested in a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Madrid have notably focused on signing younger talent who can succeed in the first team, and their sporting project seems to have appealed to Yoro.

However, the defensive wonderkid also happens to be entering the final year of his contract at the club. Because of this, Real Madrid are prepared to cool their interest in his services if they cannot sign him for less than €40 million. They will not go higher than that amount, though, as Yoro is near the end of his contract.

It is uncertain if Manchester United or Chelsea will be interested in making a move for Leny Yoro, with Lille setting a high fee for him.

Manchester United and other European clubs interested in Real Madrid goalkeeper

According to reports coming out of Spain (via Football Transfers), Manchester United are looking to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The English side will need a rebuild in the summer and the impressive Ukrainian could help.

The Red Devils have Andre Onana as their main goalkeeper, but the Cameroonian’s first season at Old Trafford has seen the side finish eighth. They aren't the only interested club, though, as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also reportedly looking to improve their squads with Lunin.

Real Madrid will, however, have a decision to make. Lunin stepped in to cover for the then-injured Thibault Courtois after Chelsea loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga failed to meet expectations this season.

The Ukrainian impressed instead and has now made it hard to consider him as a substitute goalkeeper, keeping 12 clean sheets in 31 games. His UEFA Champions League performances have notably helped Los Blancos to the final.

The Spanish giants will hope they can resolve the situation with Lunin, as they would like to keep him for longer. With his stock rising across the board, this may not be easy. For Kepa, a return to Chelsea will be on the cards this summer.
