Real Madrid eyeing Erling Haaland

Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on Erling Haaland's situation at Manchester City, according to Defensa Central. The Norwegian forward reportedly has a release clause in his contract that can be activated at the end of this season.

Haaland has been outstanding since arriving at the Emirates in the summer of 2022. He has firmly established himself as one of the best No. 9s in the game, registering 108 goals and 15 assists from 121 games for the Cityzens.

The LaLiga giants are long-term admirers of the 24-year-old and remain eager to see him at the Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos have a fiery attack at their disposal but lack a proper striker. Haaland could be ideal for the job.

Manchester City are apparently preparing for the Norwegian's impending exit by targeting Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres. The Swede has been outstanding for the Portuguese side of late and could be a fine replacement for Haaland.

The Cityzens apparently believe that the Norwegian could be on his way either next summer or in subsequent years. Real Madrid appear to be his most likely destination, but the club may have to offload one of their current attackers to make space for Haaland.

Los Blancos want Dominik Szoboszlai

Real Madrid have set their sights on Dominik Szoboszlai, according to Fichajes.net. The Hungarian midfielder has been in fine form for Liverpool this season, registering two goals and three assists from 22 games across competitions.

His efforts have turned heads at the Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos are planning to upgrade their midfield in 2025 and have identified Szoboszlai as an option.

The 24-year-old is under contract with the Reds until 2028, so prising him away won't be easy. It is believed that the LaLiga champions will have to offer €100m for his services.

Real Madrid reportedly have their eyes on Szoboszlai's teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold as well. Los Blancos are apparently trying to sign him for free once his contract with Liverpool expires next summer.

Lamini Fati close to Santiago Bernabeu move

Talented teenage defender Lamini Fati could be on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu, according to journalist Rodra. The 18-year-old has been quite impressive for the Leganes youth side of late.

He caught the eye of Los Blancos hierarchy during a friendly between Real Madrid Castilla and Leganes B over the summer. Fati was expected to move to Valencia before the end of the transfer window but ended up staying at the Estadio Municipal Butarque.

However, he could be on his way to Valdebebas in January to join the reigning champions. The player is expected to be inducted into the academy once the move is complete.
