Real Madrid want to keep in-demand 24-year-old as they reject two transfer offers: Reports
Real Madrid have reportedly decided to keep hold of their 24-year-old forward Brahim Diaz. According to Fichajes.net, Los Blancos have already rejected two transfer offers for the Morocco international, who is in high demand.
Brahim Diaz has been impressive since returning from a loan spell at AC Milan, where he scored six goals and provided seven assists in 33 Serie A games. Last season, he became an important player at the Santiago Bernabeu, making 44 appearances in all competitions. He notably scored 12 goals and provided nine assists in that period.
He had a good season, winning La Liga, the Supercopa de Espana, and the UEFA Champions League. It was thus hardly any surprise that the 24-year-old was linked with several clubs.
With the signing of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick, the subject of playing time at Real Madrid would also be a potential concern for Brahim Diaz. AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly made an official approach, with both clubs more likely to provide the attacker with a higher playing time.
However, these offers were rejected by Los Blancos, who have determined that Brahim Diaz is an indispensable player. They have decided they will not listen to any offers for the Moroccan forward, and see him as an important part of their squad for next season.
Real Madrid target Leny Yoro becomes "dream target" for three European giants
Real Madrid are reportedly targeting the signing of Leny Yoro from Lille, and are said to be leading the race for his services. The talented defender's performances in Ligue 1 have caught attention.
With his contract set to expire next summer, Lille are said to be hoping they can get good money for the 18-year-old talent this summer rather than let him go for free.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Leny Yoro is a "dream target" for clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Manchester United. He also noted that the trio were waiting to pounce (via Give Me Sport):
“All three clubs are still there trying to understand if something happens between Real Madrid and Lille but the reality is that the player is waiting for Madrid... The only way for other clubs to enter is in case the deal collapses between Madrid and Lille.”
He also noted that Leny Yoro was making a clear push to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
