Robert Lewandowski receives tempting offer to leave Barcelona; player’s entourage refuse to rule out transfer: Reports

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has reportedly received a tempting offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal as we approach the January transfer window. According to El Nacional, the Poland international's entourage has refused to rule out a transfer to the Middle East.

This may seem rather interesting, given Lewandowski's intentions of wanting to win big honors with the Blaugrana. However, the Catalans must also consider the situation with Lewandowski's current contract.

At the moment, the former Bayern Munich forward has about a year-and-a-half remaining on his deal, which may prompt his employers to sell soon enough. That being said, the 36-year-old has continued to play an important role under Hansi Flick this campaign, netting 19 goals in 17 matches across competitions.

While the Blaugrana don't want to lose him, the aforementioned report states that such an offer may not come Lewandowski's way again in his career. The forward has been fairly crucial at Camp Nou since joining the club from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022 for a reported fee of €45 million.

In all, he's played 112 matches across competitions for Barcelona, bagging 78 goals and 19 assists. He's won the La Liga title once in Catalunya and could do so this campaign as well.

Flick and Co., are top of Spain's top-tier football competition, six points clear of second-placed Real Madrid, who have played a game less. They've been scintillating in the Champions League as well this year and have netted at least four goals in each of their last three games in this tournament.

Barcelona are reportedly keeping an eye on Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, with Robert Lewandowski's future at the club uncertain. This is according to a report from TBR Football, who say that the Blaugrana sent scouts to watch Isak's performance against Nottingham Forest (via The Hard Tackle).

During the weekend's fixture (November 10), the Magpies managed to win 3-1, which saw the Sweden international bag his team's first strike. However, a move for the 25-year-old will not be simple, with Arsenal and Chelsea also said to be chasing him.

Isak has missed parts of the season due to injury, which has seen him make 11 appearances across competitions, bagging five goals and two assists. He certainly won't be a cheap buy, with the striker contracted at St. James' Park till the summer of 2028.
