According to our sources, Adam Lallana has told Southampton that he wants to move to Liverpool.

We understand the player wishes to complete deal before the World Cup begins. Talks are ongoing between clubs.

Lallana has had a very successful season, and his stellar play was pivotal to Southampton’s brilliant performances this season and their top half finish.

He has slowly made his way into Roy Hodgson’s England squad, and will definitely be one of the first names in the England manager’s final 23 to travel to Brazil.

Liverpool have turned heads around Europe with their scintillating attacking play this season, and are in with a great chance to win the Premier League. With an eye on next year’s Champions League, they are looking to add to their depth and add some more quality going forward in the form of Lallana.
