Rumour: Arsenal to move for unsettled Mario Balotelli in the summer
Premier League giants Arsenal are rumoured to move for AC Milan star striker Mario Balotelli in the summer, after discussions with the player’s agent were reportedly held.
The Italian has been unsettled at the struggling Serie A outfit, and is now said to be looking for a change of scenery at the end of the season. He has scored 10 goals in just 17 appearances in the domestic league so far this season.
The 23-year old moved to the San Siro only last winter, after having a troubled couple of seasons in England with Manchester City. He was sold for a fee in the region of €20 million plus bonuses.
Arsenal, who are in desperate need of another forward along side Olivier Giroud, will hope Balotelli can consistently repeat the goal scoring form he showed while playing for the Citizens.
Arsene Wenger and the Gunners are favorites to land the former Inter Milan forward, if he chooses to move in the summer.
