Rumour: Arsenal to make £35 million bid for Juventus' Paul Pogba
According to our sources, Arsenal have contacted Juventus into selling midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba, who joined Juventus in 2012 from Manchester United, has proved a be a great asset for the team. Pogba starred in Juventus’s Serie A title triumph last term and has proven all the more valuable during the current campaign.
Earlier this year, Pogba revealed that as a kid, he dreamed of playing for Arsenal. This extremely promising box-to-box would be a great addition to Wenger’s team.
PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and former club Manchester United are also keen on Pogba but Juventus are unlikely to be keen on losing such a talented individual.
If Pogba were to consider a Juventus exit, the chance to play under Arsene Wenger may tempt the youngster, who would also unite with national team colleagues Laurent Koscielny, Bacary Sagna and Olivier Giroud.
Reports in Italy suggest Arsenal are ready to test Juve’s resolve to keep the star, with a £35 million deal. Talks are ongoing.
