Rumour: Ashley Young linked with return to Aston Villa

Manchester United winger Ashley Young could be on his way back to his former team Aston Villa. The Englishman looks to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, as David Moyes prepares a complete overhaul of his current squad.

The 28-year old had a great start to his Manchester United career, after his dream move from Villa Park in the summer of 2011.

However, the winger has not been able to replicate his form of old, after he was sidelined for several months due to injury. He has made a meagre 5 appearances in the Premier League this campaign under David Moyes.

Ashley Young could be available at a considerable bargain, and provides a perfect opportunity for Aston Villa to re-sign their former talisman.
