Rumour: Barcelona considering Hugo Lloris as Victor Valdes replacement in goal

Barcelona are exploring the possibility of a transfer for Tottenham Hotspur goal keeper Hugo Lloris in the summer as a potential replacement for outgoing legend Victor Valdes.

The French shot stopper has been vocal about his desire to leave the Spurs if manager Tim Sherwood and co fail to secure UEFA Champions League football next season by finishing in the Premier League top four.

The Catalan giants have been linked with a host of keepers including Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Liverpool’s Pepe Reina, who have been touted favorites to land the dream transfer.

If Gerardo Martino fails to secure any of the two primary targets, a move for Hugo Lloris could be in the offing, however, the White Hart Lane outfit could prove to be a stubborn resistance in the deal.
