Barcelona could receive transfer windfall from potential sale of former star to Saudi Arabia - Reports
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona could be set to bag a transfer windfall from the sale of one of their former players to Saudi Arabia. La Masi graduate Abde Ezzalzouli is linked with a potential move to the Near East from Real Betis, which would see financially strained Blaugrana get a handsome bonus.
The La Masia graduate joined the Seville-based side last summer for €7.5 million, but Los Cules still own 50 percent of his transfer rights. His paltry return of one goal in 28 league games has seen the 22-year-old Morroccan international become expendable for Betis.
Saudi side Al-Ittihad are reportedly keen to sign him this window and a figure of around £20 million is believed to be the asking price for his services. The Saudi Arabian side are run by Ramon Planes, who works as a sporting director; he' also the man who signed Ez Abde for Betis a year ago.
Barcelona will welcome any added funds to their coffers, with their woeful financial situation being common knowledge. Whatever funds the bBaugrana receive from the sale of Ez Abde will go towards the potential registration of new players.
Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal the potential target of world record bid from PSG
As per Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal is the potential target of a world record bid from PSG. The Parisians are keen to secure a marquee addition following the departure of striker Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid.
This won't be the first time the Parisians will raid the Blaugrana with a world record fee if a deal materialises. La Parisiens signed Neymar for €222 million in 2017 and look set to come in with €250 million for Yamal.
Lamine Yamal is considered the future of Barcelona as an institution and is unlikely yo be allowed to leave at the moment. However, the Blaugrana's financial difficulties could make them have limited options in the face of such an amount being made available to them.
Yamal is at the ongoing Euro 2024 with Spain, where the youngster has dazzled. His future is unlikely to be resolved before he returns.
