Rumour: Chelsea plot transfer for enigmatic Uruguayan

Luis Suarez has been in sublime form this season, with another four of the best goals against Norwich in mid-week, in a 5-1 rout at home. Deep pocketed Chelsea, are thought to be plotting an outrageous bid of 65 million pounds for the Liverpool talisman.

The 26 year old has scored 13 goals in 9 appearances so far this campaign to top the scoring charts, despite missing the start of the season due to his ban which carried over from last season.

The difficulties Chelsea have had up front are well documented, and desperately need a proven goal scorer if they were to mount a serious challenge for the title this season. The Uruguayan could be the perfect solution to their growing problem.

However, the Reds will do all they can to hold on to their star, as they look to break into the top four this season.
