Chelsea willing to sell Juan Mata to bring Radamel Falcao to Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are willing to spend big this transfer window having set sights on AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

According to reports, The Blues are willing to consider ‘big money’ offers for Juan Mata in order to boost their Falcao bid.

There has been speculation that the Colombian striker is unhappy at the big spending Ligue 1 side, and there are chances that interested parties could attempt to lure the former Atletico Madrid man away from the principality side in January.

Chelsea were previously linked with a £60m bid for 27 year old.

Demba Ba, Samuel Eto’o, Andre Schurrle and Fernando Torres have all failed to impress, managing just four Premier League goals between them this season.

Since his move to Monaco, Falcao has scored nine goals in 13 games for the French club.
