Rumour: Chelsea's move for £60 million hit-man - Radamel Falcao all but done
Reports suggest, the West Londoners are in advanced talks with the representatives of AS Monaco and Radamel Falcao, as they look to bag one of the hottest properties in football. Cash rich Chelsea are set to match the valuation of the French side of £60 million, which could see the hit-man move to Stamford Bridge this January.
The striker moved to France only this summer in a multi million pound spending spree by AS Monaco. The Colombian has carried on his good form of last season, scoring 9 goals in 15 appearances in the domestic league – Ligue 1.
The forward could be the solution to Chelsea’s growing problems in front of goal. The three recognized strikers at Stamford Bridge have scored a dismal 6 goals between them this campaign. Jose Mourinho is now banking on Falcao to provide the cutting edge in front of goal, which could decide the Blues fortunes this season.
As the tax crisis looms large over the French outfit, they might be forced into selling the 26-year old, who has become one of their prized assets. Radamel Falcao is likely to relish the chance to play for the English giants.
