Rumour: Everton striker Nikica Jelavic wanted by QPR

Croatian international  Nikica Jelavic is being linked with a move to QPR as Harry Redknamp wants to beef up his striking options to ensure promotion to Barclays Premier League.

Prior to the game against QPR, Everton manager Roberto Martinez  said  : “Rangers have asked about Nikica but there is nothing concrete.

“There have been a few clubs asking about him, a few from abroad and a few from the British game.

“We’ve been very open, up front and honest with Niki.

“We have sat down and spoken about the situation so we all know where we are.”
