Kylian Mbappe could be forced to sack his mother who doubles up as his agent: Reports

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe could reportedly be forced to sack his agent, his mum Fayza Lamari, due to a new FIFA rule stipulating all agents to be licensed.

As per the new rule, FIFA has capped the commission amount agents can earn from player salaries and transfer fees and also prohibiting multiple representation.

With Lamari not in the game's governing body's new FIFA Agent Directory, she won't be allowed to represent any player - including her son Mbappe - for salary negotiation or receiving commission. That's as reported by JOE.co.uk.

The 24-year-old Mbappe is in the final year of his deal at PSG but is reluctant to stay beyond next summer. Real Madrid have been touted to be his most likely destination, with the La Liga leaders in pursuit of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner for a while.

Whatever lies in store for Mbappe in the next transfer window or beyond, his mom is unlikely to be officially a part of negotiations unless she gets the FIFA Agent license.

PSG striker Kylian Mbappe has made a decent start to his new season - scoring eight times in nine games across competitions. That includes seven goals in as many Ligue 1 games and one strike in two outings in the UEFA Champions League.

However, the Parisians all-time top scorer is in the midst of a scoring slump - failing to score in his last four games across competiitons. That includes the 4-1 Champions League defeat at Newcastle United last week.

Mbappe played the 3-1 league win at Rennes at the weekend - as PSG returned to winning ways. However, the striker squandered a scoring chance with an unguarded goal at his mercy, shooting wastefully over.

The incident happened in the 86th minute, with the visitors leading 3-1. The Frenchman received the ball after a swift counterattack, beat a defender and the diving goalkeeper. However, from a narrow angle, Mbappe fired well wide of the open goal.
