Rumour: Liverpool keen on PSG star, with Roma and Lyon lurking

Liverpool could be facing stiff competition from a host of other clubs for the signature of young Argentine playmaker, Javier Pastore.

Brendon Rodgers, who was rebuffed in his attempt to land Armenian creative mid-fielder Henri Mkhitaryan, and Willian, looks to be keen on Pastore, who has been in and out of his current side, PSG. Rodgers needs to add to the quality of his squad, if he is to challenge for the top-four this season.

However, Italian giants Roma, and Ligue 1 outfit – Lyon, look to be monitoring his situation as well. Sources claim, the Roma chiefs have already approached the Argentine, and voiced their intention of bringing him to the Stadio Olimpico.

Pastore rose to prominence, after a string of good performances in the 2 years he was at Palermo, and secured his big money move, into the PSG revolution. He is highly rated, and is sure to improve the quality of the team he finally ends up at.
