Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim makes decision on Ruud van Nistelrooy: Reports
Manchester United new boss Ruben Amorim will reportedy not have interim head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy in his managerial team as reported by journalist Laurie Whitwell.
It has also been reported that Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Pieter More have left the club. Meanwhile, Carlos Fernandes, Adelio Candido, Jorge Vital, Emanuel Ferro and Paulo Barreira will join the new Red Devils head coach.
United have also released a statement regarding the departure of Van Nistelrooy (via BBC.com):
"Ruud is, and always will be a Manchester United legend. We are grateful for his contribution and the way in which he has approached his role throughout his time with the club. He will always be very welcome at Old Trafford."
As an interim head coach, Van Nistelrooy was in charge of the Red Devils for four games, going unbeaten in four games across competitons, winning three.
United are 13th in the Premier League, with 15 points from 11 games. In the UEFA Europa League, they are 15th in the standings, with six points from four games, winning once.
Victor Lindelof could reportedly leave Manchester United in 2025
AC Milan are reportedly willing to sign Victor Lindelof next summer, according to Caughtoffside. It was also reported that Lindelof could sign a pre-contract agreement with AC Milan, which would allow him to join them next summer.
The arrival of Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt has pushed the Swedish international down the pecking order at centre-back. That has seen him register only seven appearances across competitions for the Red Devils this season.
His current contract at Old Trafford is set to expire next summer, but the Red Devils might look to sell him in January rather than losing him for free in the summer.
